Since the weather hasn’t exactly been on our side lately, we thought we’d make the most of it and take things indoors: into the skate bowl itself. And while we’re at it, we want to use the occasion to raise money for Palestine, with all proceeds from ticket sales being donated.

For Part 3 of Palestine on Screen, we’re spending the night with Palestine’s skate and street scenes: how skateboarding started there, the people and spaces that grew around it, the graffiti scene, and the realities young people navigate in their everyday lives.

Skateboarding runs through the night, but the films open up much bigger topics. You definitely don’t need to be a skater to come, enjoy the films or take something away from them. And the setting is part of it: bringing the scenes on screen into a space here in Berlin that carries some of that same energy.

If the weather decides to be kind to us after all, we’ll move outside to the skate yard.
